This is the store of Reuben Vaughn Windham and wife Martha B "Mattie" Waldrop Windham.
Reuben and Mattie had a daughter, Mary Nell Windham, that married Chester Cecil Cunningham. Chester was half brother to Harold Lane Conner, and they were my 3rd cousins twice-removed (Shelton line).
The sign on the store says "Mrs R V Windham. Fashionable Millinary [sic]. Latest and most up to date patterns. Lowest prices." They ran this store in Millport from 1890 until 1932. Reuben died in 1948 at age 86, and Martha in 1950 at age 74.
